Today I drove
the Hana Highway. The weather wasn't too good at the northern end, but it is a rather nice drive. Nothing like Highway 1, mind you. The most interesting part was the southern half where the roads became even narrower and slippery (gravel & rain = ice). The highway reportedly has 620 turns over 68 miles, some of them close to 900 foot cliffs. It was a blast. Doing it again the day after tomorrow to see if I can take some better pictures.
Tomorrow I will be at the beach doing nothing. Aloha!
